Save Aaray forest

government talks about sustainable development which can be achieved by establishing a relationship between social,economic and environmental but how can be it achieved by ignoring the environment and even social development is lacked here as society is protesting against this development of bmc.I am greatly impressed by the midnight protest leaded by youths of Mumbai.This proves that youth of India is very much concern about environment.BMC has chopped many trees in just seconds which takes years to grow.trees are our lifeline as they provide o2 which is essential for our serving.yes we need development but not at the cost of the environment also we need conservation. The city needs the infrastructure to support the growing population at the same time we need trees and parks. Although BMC has given its statement that this project will lower burden from road and local train once metro will run in the track and BMC will plant much more trees than the chopped one but we know that their is always difference between speech and action.I don't agree with this why should we cut trees why not we shift this project to some where else?? By doing this we can save our Aarey's trees #AareyProtest #AareyChipko #AareyForest #ClimateChangeifference
